  "description": "Boussole-tachymetertheodoliet door M. Hildebrand, voor zowel detailmeting volgens de voerstraal methode als eenvoudige tijd en/of plaats bepaling in de tropen. Een eenheids-bergboussole voorzien van richtkijker met draden afstandmeter van Horstink. In 1932 werden door luitenant-kolonel J. Th. Horstink van de Topografische Dienst van Nederlands-Indië enkele voorstellen gedaan tot verbetering van de bergboussole. Hieruit is dit instrument ontstaan. De voornaamste verbeteringen zijn: horizontale en verticale afstandsdraden, een extra gewone horizontale rand en een afneembaar niveau op de kijker. Het instrument heeft een Nederlandse kompasaanduiding: rechtsom Noord, Oost, Zuid, West. Zie ook 2000.0254.GEO voor de oude bergboussole, en 2000.0879.GEO voor de opvolger van dit model. Het bijbehorende statief heeft als inventarisnummer 2000.0513.GEO.",
